# How To Change A List Name

To quickly change/update the name of your lists, simply click into the list and click on the list name.

**Note**: When it comes to each list, only the [List Admins / List Owner](/s/article/List-Level-Permissions) can edit the name.

If you're not a list admin or the list owner, you can:

* Ask the list owner to make you a list admin as well (see [Sharing lists](/s/article/How-to-share-lists-in-Affinity)).
* Ask the list owner or list admins to change the list name themselves.
